About me: I am a lifelong martial artist, starting with Karate in middle and high school, I also wrestled through high school and college. I started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2010 and continue to develop daily as a martial artist. I have had to find a way to balance my training with a 9-5 job, so I know first hand how hard it can be to work and train. I believe in creating a class environment that can help people decompress from the busy week, rather than being a chore.

Experience: Over 16 years of experience in BJJ, Wrestling, Boxing and Kickboxing

Teaching Style: I believe in positive reinforcement and keeping the practice room light-hearted. Students learn when they practice consistently, which is more likely to happen when training is fun! I believe in humility, approachability, and creating a safe atmosphere for training, so that students can feel free to ask questions and develop their skillset.

A Complete Martial Artist: Though we stick to BJJ instruction, you should be confident in knowing that the techniques being handed down come from an instructor with victories in MMA, Wrestling, Boxing as well as competition Jiu Jitsu. The bottom line: we will teach you safe and effective techniques that will work in a real-life self defense scenario.
